About Farmers Africa

Farmers Africa started in September 2017, after a team of passionate young, learned farmers and researchers met and agreed to create a platform where farmers in Africa and beyond can get up-to-date information on how to improve their farms, production and farming skills. Furthermore, the team aims to use this platform as a means to network African Farmers in the virtual world and where they can get help, communicate together and/or access vital information that would help their farming business.

The goal of the team behind Farmers Africa is to make this website the No. 1 go-to website of farmers for farm management tips, marketing, networking and agricultural revolutions. That is why our team is coming together and would be sharing responsibilities among each other to provide up-to-date, valuable articles in various fields of agriculture. This website, as well as our Forum, www.farmers.africa/forum, will cover topics which include:

  • Crop and Soil Science
  • Livestock Production, Nutrition and Health
  • Fishery and Aquaculture
  • Agricultural Engineering
  • Agribusiness
  • Agropreneurship
  • Trending Industry News

The target of the team is Africa, and this website is another strategy to awaken people’s passion for Agriculture as well as make farming become an easy endeavor for people. Irrespective of our country, tribe, culture, and beliefs, Agriculture is the same everywhere in the world. Hence, Farmers Africa would be taking advantage of this to bring farmers together via www.farmers.africa/forum. Farmers can register on the forum, ask questions and respond to other people’s posts. However, our team members and other research experts are also members of the forum to answer your questions professionally and comprehensively.

Farmers Africa will continually welcome suggestions, contributors, and ideas from everyone, but these would be moderated. We also look forward to receiving valuable information, write-ups, pictures, and news relating to agriculture from different people in Africa and beyond. A tree cannot make a forest. Hence, we need everyone to achieve our goal. Together we can revive Agriculture and increase food security in Africa.
